What Kind of Olive Oil Is Best to Use?

I use extra virgin olive oil for this easy appetizer. I love the Pompeian brand olive oil. I purchase the Robust variety to use “raw” in salads, marinades, and appetizers like this one. They also have a Smooth variety I enjoy which is best used when cooking with oil: such as sauteing and stir-frying.

Check out this post which goes into detail on the different types of olive oil and the best ways to use them.

What is the Best Bread to Use?

Anything with a hearty, crunchy crust on the outside and soft dough on the inside. I love the loaves of take-and-bake breads and rolls you can bake at home and are available at most grocery stores. You just pop it in the oven, bake for ten minutes (or less!), and you instantly have fresh, hot bread to go with your delicious appetizer.
